Chad Schell
Dr. Chad C. Schell, a Wyoming native, always knew he wanted to return home after completing his education. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Wyoming in 2006 and graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 2010 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, he joined Powder River Dental and moved his family to Gillette. Dr. Schell and his wife, Lindsey, are proud parents of five children—Morgan, Malin, Troy, Chris, and Gabe. Outside the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Lindsey is the Office Manager at Thunder Basin Smiles, overseeing the day-to-day business operations and supporting both patients and team members. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience and helping the practice run efficiently. Outside the office, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Chad Schell, and their five children. Lindsey loves animals and has a small little hobby farm. She is passionate about supporting her community and helping others feel at home at Thunder Basin Smiles.

Christina has called Gillette home since 2014. After completing her prerequisites at Montana State University Billings and earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Sheridan College in 2013, she brought a unique background to dentistry, having previously worked as a dental technician in Germany for 10 years. Christina is passionate about the connection between oral and overall health, with special interests in sleep apnea and airway-focused dentistry. Her goal is to help patients become engaged and confident in their oral health. Outside the office, she enjoys camping, biking, and spending time with her two children and their dogs.

Brekyn grew up in Kaycee and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Sheridan College in 2019. After beginning her career in pediatric dentistry, she transitioned to general dentistry, where she enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside the office, Brekyn loves spending time with her husband and their two children, a daughter and a son.
Krista H.
Krista is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable while providing exceptional care. She graduated from Sheridan College in 1994 and practiced in Billings, Montana, for 17 years before moving to Gillette in 2012. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles with state and national dental hygiene organizations. Outside the office, Krista enjoys volunteering, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her husband, children, friends, and family.

Known for her compassionate nature, she enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and their families. Outside the office, Tonya is a proud mom of three who loves fishing, riding dirt bikes, spending time outdoors with her family, and raising Schnauzers.

A dedicated and goal-oriented mother of three. Currently transitioning into a financial coordinator role, she also is pursuing phlebotomy training. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, relaxing at the lake and embracing spontaneous adventures.

She has worked in the dental field for the past 25 years. Her starting place was with Dr. David Veronesi in 2004-2009 and then at Powder River Dental. She has come up the ranks from working the front desk to being the financial and insurance coordinator, and has proven to be invaluable. Outside of work her family is her priority. Her and husband Randy just celebrated their 48 years of marriage. They have three children and six grandchildren. She loves camping, fishing, crafting and cooking. Fellow employee’s most requested item is breakfast burritos!
